ArborLinkS | Nebraska City, NE

Truly off-grid in the Nebraska countryside, the first Dormie Network club spans 300+ acres of pure golf, with 18-holes designed by Arnold Palmer in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. KoontzJones was initially engaged to provide landscape improvements to 12 existing cottages, clubhouse, and halfway house/comfort station. A third phase of cottages, featuring a 12-bedroom “Palmer Lodge”, 8-bedroom “Arnie’s Cottage”, and luxurious 4-Bedroom “Owner’s Cottage”, has recently opened. The three buildings are cleverly clustered around a stand-alone golf hole, each with a private tee located on a rear terrace. Guests can gather in this nighttime illuminated complex after their rounds to enjoy a warm fire and a cold beverage, while trading golf shots into the short par-three. KoontzJones provided site planning and detailed landscape architecture services for the latest third phase of cottages.
